We have an electronic check in system that requires all children to be accompanied by a parent/guardian to collect a printed name label and parent pick-up security labels, prior to the start of each service. Please keep your pick-up label as it will need to be presented when collecting your child. You may send an older sibling to fetch your child provided they show the security label. If you are needed during the service, this number will be paged in the auditorium.
KC Kids check-in for ages 3 to grade 6 is accessed in the lobby. For younger children, there will be a play space at the back of the church where they can play under your supervision.
- KC Kids registration opens 10 minutes before the service so may be dropped off from 8.50am
- Children should be picked up within 10 minutes of the service ending.
We endeavour to create a space in which your child feels safe, welcomed and loved. Any volunteers who is 18 years and above must have a Working with Children Blue Card. Leaders are also trained in the Safe church policies of Kenmore Church of Christ.
Age 3 and under
A contained space in the auditorium for parents, bubs and toddlers. That way you can be part of the service but have room for the kids to move. All we ask is that if your child is making excessive noise that you take a short break in the cafe area.
Please bring toys and activities to keep your little one busy. If you need to bring a snack, please make sure it is a ‘dry’ one like plain biscuits as we do not want food like cake, fruit, yoghurt, custards etc to be stamped into the carpet. It needs to be easily vacuumed. You are welcome to provide a water bottle/cup for your child as well.
Age 3 to kindy
A structured, play-based program including worship.
Please make sure your child is fully toilet trained before joining this group. They should be able to follow instructions and be able to sit through story time.
What to bring:
No toys! They will get mixed up with church toys and other kids may take them and break them. Please leave special toys in the car.
Optional: A named or disposable water bottle.
What to know: Please encourage your child to go to the toilet before the service starts as we will be discouraging toilet breaks. Should the need arise, we will page you during the service to attend to this. If your child is still very young and, although toilet trained, is susceptible to having an accident, a good suggestion would be to use pull ups on a Sunday morning.
Prep to Grade 6
This is a full program of worship, teaching activities, quiet time and more.
What to know: Please encourage your child to go to the toilet before the service starts as we will be discouraging toilet breaks. Leaders will not be permitted to take your children to the toilet, and should the need arise, we will page you during the service to attend to this.
What to bring: Your bible, preferably an NIV edition if you can, with your NAME in it and a named or disposable water bottle if you want to. There is no facility to keep track of lost property as it is a shared space with very limited storage, so please make sure you collect all your belongings to take home each week. Please note, that whilst a morning snack is not regularly served, from time to time food may be offered as part of an activity.
